8 January 2007 : Tongariro Crossing / Tama Lakes in February
Work may have started for the year, but there is no need to dispair ... the mountain is calling, and with National Park as the base am looking at doing the Tongariro Crossing and/or Tama Lakes in late-February, so let me know if you're keen and the house 'may' have power and water connected, though the local hotel has kindly offered their facilities, and they provide a superb breakfast for starting out on the mountain.
