Wednesday January 24th we're off to Metropolis (South end of Victoria Street) for coffee/dessert at 7.30pm and then movie 'The Holiday' at 8.40pm, so come join us for the evening.
PARACHUTE '07
This weekend Parachute '07 is happening at Mystery Creek, with around 22,000 people jammed in like sardines to enjoy music and other entertainment. Contact me if you're wanting a spot in the 'tentcity', or call me on cellphone over the weekend if you want to know where we all are in the crowd.

EXPRESSO3 LAUNCHES INTO 2007
It's time for the first summer outdoor Expresso3 gathering...
SAT 20th JANUARY Afternoon of Fun at Clandon Christian Community
Located on Boyd Road on the drive from Hamilton to Gordonton (starting on Tramway Road), about 10mins from the city boundary, on the left. This will kick off from 3pm, including volleyball, soccer, dip in the pool, and whatever other outdoor fun we can find ... happening regardless of the weather ... or just bring a book and enjoy an afternoon in the sun.
Dinner is potluck, so bring various dishes to share, drinks, desserts etc, from about 6pm, including BBQ.

For those slightly more adventurous and keen to cycle from Hamilton, a group of us will be leaving from 110 Totara Drive in Pukete (yes it's the northern end of the city fortunately) at 2pm, to cycle to Boyd Road.

Work may have started for the year, but there is no need to dispair ... the mountain is calling, and with National Park as the base am looking at doing the Tongariro Crossing and/or Tama Lakes in late-February, so let me know if you're keen and the house 'may' have power and water connected, though the local hotel has kindly offered their facilities, and they provide a superb breakfast for starting out on the mountain.
