As native trees around the house transform the environment there has been a notable increase in native tui, waxeyes, fantails and in the evenings moreporks ... and the pond with it's lone goldfish (okay so he's eaten the others!!!) has enticed another resident to move in, this time an Australian Green Tree Frog ... With David and Len we reached the top plateau in gale force winds and a dense mist at the top which would clear for a couple of minutes then cloud over again as the howling winds enveloped us.
