RAURIMU STATION HORSE TREK : November 22/23
Fund raising for refurbishment of the National Park Community Hall inspired Janet to organise the first ever horse trek on Raurimu Station, directly across the State Highway from the village, in what turned out to be a perfect weekend. Predicted rain didn't eventuate, we managed to keep the 77 trekkers fed and happy, and it looks like this may well become an annual event. Awesome organisation Janet ... and very professionally run on the weekend :-)
Contact me if you would like copies of the photos (on CD)
NATIONAL PARK : 22/23 November 2008 Garden Edging Edges Ahead
As grass and plants vigorously grow with warm summer weather and the automated watering system it was time to tackle tidying garden and lawn edging. The inner perimeter of the garden (first 1-0.5m) around the house is now completely edged in 150mm x 50mm treated timber, so forms a mowing strip, while the outer edge of the lawn and boundary edge will eventually be completed in the same form.

47 THE MAGIC AGE FOR SUCCESS IN POLITICS???
A little research will uncover the fact that not only is US President-elect Barak Obama 47 years old (4 August 1961).
So is New Zealand Prime Minister John Key (9 August 1961),
AND Deputy PM Bill English is soon 47 (December 1961)
.... and wait for it ... yes even closer to home ...
Hamilton West MP Tim Macindoe is 47 (11 February 1961).
Does this mean anything?
Probably not, but it certainly makes the analysis of prime numbers interesting, being that 47 is a prime number AND the age of our Prime Minister.

1961 holds the NZ record for greatest number of births in any year, at 65,390.

Another fascinating piece of trivia I calculated ...
John Key was a mere 1 day younger when he was elected PM of New Zealand, than Barack Obama was when he was elected President of the US in the same week.
(5 days difference in age, while the respective elections were 4 days apart)

Did you realise that an anagram for Tim Macindoe is 'Atomic Denim' !!!
A special shade of blue perhaps???

NATIONAL WIN ELECTION '08 !!!
There's really not much more to say, but that this country has finally after 9 years of near slavery to the morally corrupt Socialist far-Left, returned to the centre Right, and we can look forward to a society based on ethical and moral behaviour, of encouragement, of higher living standards ... and most importantly, we have Tim Macindoe as MP for Hamilton West.
Congratulations Tim.
A victory well deserved after an incredible effort, and much sacrifice for many years to reach this point.

Outgoing Hamilton West Labour MP Martin Gallagher congratulates incoming National MP Tim Macindoe on his win, at Tim's election night campaign headquarters in the Waikato Stadium.

LABOUR PARTY ARE COMMUNISTS BY THEIR OWN ADMISSION : 6 November 2008
Labour Party Waikato Candidate Jacinda Ardern has just returned to the country to contest the Waikato Electorate from time in the UK, where she is president of the 'International Union of Socialist Youth' (note that their website banner contains proud images of Lenin and Marx with the hammer & sickle, so draw your own conclusions here) and is now Jacinda is listed as #20 in the Labour List ... Strange you may think, but she is a proud communist, so shows precisely what type of person Labour want high in their list. She is guaranteed to be in parliament, even if no-one votes for her, so is the next wave of extreme Socialists to run Labour ... but don't trust me ... check out the 'International Union of Socialist Youth' information, and Labour Party website where Jacinda is #20, yet avoids stating the exact title of the "international youth organisation" she is president of ...

>>> Wikipedia Link (detailing Jacinda's presidency and links to LabourNZ) ~
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Union_of_Socialist_Youth
>>> International Union of Socialist Youth (what they really stand for) ~
(Check out the 'Socialist Countries' link at the bottom of the website)

>>> NZ Labour Party (Jacinda's 'profile', with obscure reference to her IUSY presidency) ~
http://labourparty.org.nz/people

The International Union of Socialist Youth holds up a number of countries as proudly Socialist, including Cuba, China, Venezuela, North Korea, Laos, Vietnam ... so if you want to be in a country similar to those that Jacinda Arden's Socialist organisation promotes, then vote Labour and we soon shall be in a Socialist/Communist state. That will stop people leaving for Australia, as you'll not be permitted to leave !!!

Incredibly they are also selling NAZI T-shirts on their website, for $7.99 ... so what can you possibly conclude from this ???
Do you trust a party who are slipping known communists into parliament???
On the other hand,
if you have any desire to have a decent country, VOTE NATIONAL !!!
